The standard-bearer of American couture, Ralph Lauren launched his men’s label Polo in 1967. In the early 70s, he branched out into women’s fashion and accessories. His fragrance collection was born in 1978, with Polo, for men, and Lauren, for women. Other creations have followed: Safari, Polo Sport, Polo Blue, Polo Black, the Romance duo, the RALPH collection and many more. The brand is present in many branches of design (fragrance, fashion, accessories, home decoration), and under a variety of labels, including Purple Label, Blue Label, Black Label, Children and Collection.
