Extraction Method
Sweet lime essential oil is obtained through steam distillation of the fruit. It is the only citrus essence obtained through distillation.
Uses
Mint and sweet lime make a perfect combination to add freshness and originality to raw vegetables and rice.
Medicinal properties
Sweet lime essence is used in saunas (with lavender and eucalyptus) to help release skin impurities.
