The three flankers (new interpretations on the basis of the classic fragrances): Nuit d’Issey Austral Expedition, L’Eau d’Issey Pour Homme Oceanic Expedition and L’Eau d’Issey Pour Homme Sport Polar Expedition, drops us right into the wild, in a nature bursting with olfactive purity and a brand new freshness.

Nature is Miyake’s guide. His formulas are simple and perfectly structured, his perfumery is one of pure emotion, self exploration. And this exploration shall take us to the other end of the world, as for him « nature is the greatest perfumer, all you have to do is draw inspiration from it ». Just like an echo, all of his fragrances translate into scents the relationship of man to the elements.

L’Eau d’Issey Pour Homme Oceanic Expedition brings together the marine character of Cascalone®, invigorating citrus and ginger notes, and plush white musks. It is a dip in the ocean, a gulp of the purest air, a in leap in the infinite blue. The fragrance was created by Alberto Morillas (Firmenich), also author of CK One (Calvin Klein) and Acqua di Giò (Giorgio Armani), among others.

To wear Nuit d’Issey Issey Miyake Austral Expedition is to set foot on an unkown land, a deserted island. An icy western made of lime and prickly gentian, ambry woods and intense vetiver. This perfume was crafted by Loc Dong (IFF), like Manifesto (Yves Saint Laurent, with Anne Flipo) and Bouquet (Vera Wang).

L’Eau d’Issey Pour Homme Sport Polar Expedition is a journey across the arctic circle, bearing accents of grapefruit, lime, enhanced by Hivernal (Firmenich molecule). Its author is Christophe Raynaud, who also created One Million (Paco Rabanne) and L'Instant Magique Elixir (Guerlain).
