For spring, I want gourmandise

12 april 2013

This year, it seems that brands are addictive to gourmand scents.

Jo Malone has even dedicated an entire collection to desserts and other delicacies. It is called : Sugar & Spice. I recommend you to try Ginger Biscuit, a spicy gourmand perfume and Lemon Tart that mixes sugar and slightly acidic notes.

If you love candies, Prada Candy is back in 2013 with L’Eau, a fresher version but that stills contains caramel.

As for Jennifer Lopez, she launches Forever Glowing, a gourmand scent too with honey, toffee and vanilla.

If you like this kind of notes, Bath & Body Works recently launched Forever Red. This fruity floral contains rum, vanilla and marshmallow. Yummy !

How about you : do you like gourmand perfumes ?  What are your favorite ones ?

I love flowers, fashion… and of course perfumes ! I’m a true perfume lover. My friends always ask me when they want an advice on a new fragrance. What do I do when I’m not visiting perfumeries and department stores ? Well, I read books on botany. Did I tell you that I love flowers,...

I've never found that elusive (sweet, stripper perfume) black bottle he swears is so good. (Jelly-bean lipstick came the closest to the smell he tries to describe).

I will(have) try all suggested in this article. I am also pretty sure I will love each one. Prada Candy is good. I bet their new scent is just as delicious. Forever Red by BBWorks sounds divine & has a good price point if you're on a limited budget. I've tried Forever Glowing & I prefered Glow. Jo Malone's sound very inviting: Ginger Biscuit and Lemon Tart. Men have loved gourmand on women and love the fruity/florals that they associate with baking in the kitchen and women on stripper poles (a guy I know went nuts trying to find "that stripper perfume they all use to drive us crazy).
