History

The Apothia boutique at Fred Segal Los Angeles have long been favored by those in the know for their must-have makeup and beauty items. Their first fragrance, IF, is now a cult following fragrance which embodies the Southern Californian, and particularly Los Angeles hip fashion fragrance seekers. The cult scent of Gardenia and Pikaki flower is a LA landmark. IF’s creation process was unique: a hand picked group of women across the USA, selected via Apothia’s client on-line club members, including Los Angeles’ celebs like Drew Barrymore and Jennifer Garner, were asked to sample and give their feedback on different creations, and 8 months later, IF was born.
