Description
Both citrusy and sheer, this fragrance’s opening blends Tunisian neroli and pink pepper. Orange blossom and frankincense intertwine at the heart. The trail goes woody and musky with an ambrox-y effect. Perfumer: Jérome Epinette, Robertet.

History
Woody and musky, Bois Blonds is one of the first five fragrances from the new Atelier Cologne brand. Created by Sylvie Ganter and Christophe Cervasel, two creators who are wild about the cologne family, a perfumery classic. The house spotlights cologne absolute, i.e. highly concentrated formulas (12 to 20%, depending on the fragrance) ‘with long, distinct trails.’ Each scent ‘captures the emotion of a precious moment…’ Bois Blonds evokes an instant suspended in time between two people enjoying a beautifully glowing sunset.

Je trouve également qu'après un départ hespéridé très court, les notes musquées prennent quasiment toute la place face à un encens qui se fait trop discret.

Les notes de tête laisse rapidement la place aux muscs, lesquels mélangés à l'encens et aux bois blond ont un aspect velouté/crémeux. Dire que cela finit par être écœurant serait trop fort mais certains jours... En fait le seul reproche que l'on pourrait faire à l'Atelier Cologne, qui dans l'ensemble propose des jus de qualité, c'est au sujet de leur packaging, flacon et plus particulièrement la typo et le graphisme de l'étiquette, d'une pauvreté et d'un ennui...
