Orange Sanguine
Description
The fragrance opens with oranges, both ruby (or blood) and Seville (or bitter), with a green and aldehydey effect. The heart of Orange Sanguine unveils jasmine and geranium. Orange’s fruity sensation continues, then the drydown goes lightly ambry and woody. Perfumer: Ralf Schwieger, Mane.

History
Sparklingly citrusy, Orange Sanguine is one of the first five fragrances from the new Atelier Cologne brand. Created by Sylvie Ganter and Christophe Cervasel, two creators who are wild about the cologne family, a perfumery classic. The house spotlights cologne absolute, i.e. highly concentrated formulas (12 to 20%, depending on the fragrance) ‘with long, distinct trails.’ Each scent ‘captures the emotion of a precious moment…’ Orange sanguine evokes breakfast on a balcony with friends, in the warmth of bright sunshine.’

Je l'ai essayé. Sans tenir compte de son prix, je le trouve très sympa dans son genre, mais un peu "pour tous les jours". N'est-il pas un peu "simple" (pas simplet) ? Ne lui manque-t-il pas le "juste ce qu'il faut"pour qu'il se distingue vraiment ? (et là revient le prix, aussi.)

Cette Orange Sanguine est probablement la meilleure porte d'entrée dans le monde d'Atelier Cologne. Une orange douce et amère à la fois, un jasmin en embuscade qui ne se fait pourtant pas oublier, une tenue et un sillage exceptionnels pour une Cologne. Bravo !

C'est avec Orange Sanguine que j'ai découvert la Maison Atelier Cologne. La fragrance est fraîche, addictive et de très belle facture.

This does smell exactly like beautiful, just peeled oranges. For those who don't like just oranges, play with layering. Try layering with Happy by Clinique, Serge Lutens Bois de Base, L'Occitane's Verveine and/or Sunflowers by Elizabeth Arden. Maybe even L'Hadrien by Annick Goutal. It is for a sunny, happy feeling.
