Vétiver Fatal
Description
The cologne opens with fresh, citrusy notes of Calabrian bergamot, Sicilian lemon and heart of Paraguayan bitter orange. The heart gets mellower with orange blossom, violet leaf and a black-plum tonality. The woody trail reveals Haitian vetiver, the fragrance’s keynote ingredient, paired with cedar wood and an oud accord.
At a glance
A woody scent with a mischievous freshness
History
Atelier Cologne’s Vétiver Fatal is an intensely woody eau that is being launched at the same time as Rose Anonyme. Together they compose the house’s first ‘couple’ of Colognes. Vétiver Fatal has a back story: a man is trying to catch a lady diamond thief. When another theft takes place, he goes to the scene of the crime immediately, and recognizes the thief’s signature olfactory trail. After erasing all the evidence against her, he sets off to pursue her personally…

En ouverture l'orange amère est très présente, je la ressens presque dans la bouche-sensation qui m'est très désagréable. Puis ce Vétiver Fatal s'assagit, s'arrondit et son évolution me rappelle en plus doux Fahrenheit.
