Alaïa Paris
Description
The scent srarts on a spicy and fresh note of the pink berries mixed with lemon. A marine aroma adds a mineral and aquatic feel to the composition also impregnated with quite abstract floral notes (freesia, peony, rose). Beneath the freshness, a more animal background, leather (basic castoreum) and white musks.
History
In tis first fragrance the designer expresses memories of his childhood in Tunisia. Away from mainstream perfumery, deliberately abstract, Alaïa Paris is tells the tale of the sensations, the contrast between hot and cold, reminiscent of those times when the designer's grandmother splashed cold water on to the burning hot walls of the house to cool the air.

Il y a cette envolée fruitée qui tient un bon moment que j'adore puis arrive cette odeur sèche, tout en contraste. Surprenant. A la fois féminin puis masculin. Il ne ressemble à aucun autre.

Sounds like a great concoction. I like the lemon and berry notes. The leather and musk are also intriguing. Chocobo hunting.
