A fragrance inspired by New York’s vibrant Arts-and-Style intersection
History
In 1967, the quiet Astor Place was transformed by Tony Rosenthal’s geometric black metal sculpture, known as ‘the Cube’. “With Astor Place back on its game, we at Bond No.9 decided it was time for a namesake eau de parfum. Hence Astor Place, the scent, a fresh spring floral… It’s contemporary Downtown all right, with a lot of grace”. For more information : www.bondno9.com
Range
Eau de Parfum 1.7 oz / 50 ml and 3.4 oz / 100 ml.

I have said that bottle design doesn't drive my purchase of perfumes. That being said, it doesn't hurt to have your favorite scent in a gorgeous bottle. I must say that there is something beyond charming in Bond No. 9's decision to keep the bottle structure the same and the color and face design different throughout their line. Gorgeous bottle designs go to Anna Sui, Lolita Lempicka, among some others. This brand has a marketing campaign I like. They give the back stories to their creations - so far taking place in NY. After all that verbage, every ingredient in this sounds fantastic and like another reviewer said "perfect for day."

One of my favorite bottles from Bond No.9. The scent is great for the daytime, especially brunches and lunches. None of the note clash with food and it overpowering, which bothers me during daytime meals. My only dislike is the musk. Musk does not stand out in the fragrance, I personally have a sensitivity to artificial musk scents.
