Sweet Redemption

Description

Sweet Redemption is composed around orange blossom and vanilla. The opening unveils bergamot and bitter-orange-tree leaf (petit-grain) absolute. Orange-blossom absolute is then extended through a balsamic accord composed of myrrh, frankincense, opopanax and benzoin. And finally, in the trail, vanilla brings warmth and sweetness to the composition.

History

Sub-titled The End, Sweet Redemption is being presented as the tenth and last chapter in the ‘L’Œuvre noire’ collection. The fragrance, worked like the ‘kiss of the devil,’ was built as a cross between sweetness and bitterness, based on orange blossom and balsamic notes. With this last temptation, designer Kilian Hennessy wanted to take ‘a final bow to the poètes maudits and the irresistible attraction of forbidden fruit.’ More info and points of sale on: www.bykilian.com
