Bamboo Harmony
Description
Bamboo Harmony opens with a mix of sparkling notes: bergamot, bigarade (bitter Seville orange) and neroli. The heart intertwines mimosa’s floral accords with the gentleness of white tea, plus just a pinch of spicy notes. The drydown is composed of maté, fig leaves and oak moss. Perfumer: Calice Becker.
At a glance
A stroll through the heart of a bamboo forest.
History
Citrusy, green and fresh, Bamboo Harmony is a fragrance in By Kilian’s Asian Tales collection. The range is a journey to the heart of Asia and its traditions. Bamboo Harmony pays tribute to bamboo, which was: ‘considered by the scribe to be the symbol of perfection, it is the main component of their brush,’ By Kilian explains. This strongly green-tea infected scent is inspired by the tale of the bamboo cutter… Perfect for a peaceful journey to the heart of Asia.

Sorry, this scent is an Asian tale instead of African. It makes sense since it's full of tea and a tribute to bamboo. Still for the 20th or 21st century man.

This composition sounds outrageously elegant & like tea time. It doesn't matter one bit that Africa inspired this or it was modeled after Africa in any way. Orange, tea and fig are outrageously elegant and for the 20th century male who does occassionally have tea.
