La Tulipe
Description
The actual flower that probably comes closest to this imaginary tulip, as seen by Byredo, is lily-of-the-valley: a light floral with green, slightly cosmetic-like facets. The transparent floral is accentuated with notes of freesia and cyclamen. A touch of rhubarb brings a burst of fruity greenness. The long-lasting trail is woodsy, musky and very gentle. For women, and why not men, too? .
At a glance
An imaginary flower, an ode to spring
History
Like lily-of-the-valley or lilac, tulips are a flower that’s generally associated with spring. This lovely, ephemeral flower, ‘redolent of dewy morning gardens, and flower buds singing the return of spring’ doesn’t really have a smell. Or else it has one, but it’s so light that perfumers rarely claim it. That hasn’t stopped Swedish brand Byredo from dreaming up a delicate perfume, with sparkling, green and airy accents. In a nutshell, the fragrance idealizes a cheerful harbinger of spring. At selected points of sale.

The closest smell to tulips is delicate stems and leaves. I admire the challenge that was taken to creat a tulip fragrance. I'd like to give it a try. Unique.

Parfum incroyable, très frais, fleurit à souhait. Il est magnifique, parfait pour l'été. Seul bémol, il pourrait tenir un peu plus longtemps.
