History
Ernest Daltroff, the appointed creator of the Maison Caron in 1904 had vowed to create a perfume as a tribute to America, the nation that gave him back his freedom. He was a refugee in New York in 1939. History would have it otherwise: although Daltroff had wanted to honor America, it was Patrick Ales, the new owner of Caron in 1998 who honored the vow by creating Lady Caron, which was presented at the official opening of the new Caron Boutique located at 675 Madison Avenue in New York. Lady Caron is an armful of white flowers, a gift from Richard Fraysse the nose who composed the fragrance.

Bottle
The flacon symbolizes the Statue of Liberty. Elegant and generous, it is fitted with a cameo of the face of Miss Liberty. The flacon recalls the transparency and purity of the ambery juice. The slender stopper has multiple facets and reflects light just like a prism shooting up to the sky.
