Description
This scent, composed around oud wood, is somewhat softened with essence of Turkish rose. Waves of other woody scents are also unveiled: cedar, patchouli and sandalwood. Saffron plus ambry-trailed cistus labdanum’s grant the fragrance a touch of power. Perfumer: François Demachy.

History
A woody, floral and oriental scent composed around oud wood, Oud Ispahan is a 2012 entry for the ‘Collection Christian Dior’, a line conceived for connoisseurs of the most stunning essences. Each of them is inspired by the history and the spirit of the House of Dior. This fragrance pays tribute to Arabia, a region whose sensuality and high-quality ingredients were particularly attractive to Christian Dior. After Leather Oud, Oud Ispahan proposes a more floral, less leathery version of this rare wood.
Range
Eau de Parfum 4.2, 8.5 and 17.
Bottle
The cylindrical Oud Ispahan bottle affords a glimpse of a clear pink juice. A white label with the fragrance’s name adorns the bottle. The black, ribbed cap grants an elegant touch of contrast.

Je l'ai senti au Printemps Haussmannn et je le trouve trés animal. Il m'attire mais il faudrait que je le porte un moment et voir si la rose ne le rend pas trop féminin sur une peau d'homme. Le prix fait aussi réfféchir.
