Dior Homme Cologne (2013)
Description
Dior Homme Cologne opens with a fresh citrusy note of Calabrian bergamot. The heart goes more floral, thanks to grapefruit blossom. In the dry-down, the fragrance evolves towards white musk. Perfumer: François Demachy.

History
After a first version in 2007, in 2013, Dior is reinterpreting Dior Homme Cologne as an eau fraîche. The fragrance, which is quite unlike its predecessor, is true to the spirit of colognes. Like for most of the house’s men’s scents, Dior wanted to include a flower in the formula: in this case, it’s the light, citrusy grapefruit blossom. The packaging, in white and blue tones, is like a reflection of the sea and summer.
Range
Cologne 2.5 and 4.2 oz.
Bottle
The rectangular bottle is white with a touch of blue.

Reclamo a Dior. Sin comentarios.

The sheer delight of bergamot and grapefruit over musks is GREAT. For men who prefer colognes, they should try this. It is light and sheer. The musk is not overpowering and the bergamot stays on for a long time.

François Demachy is the home-perfumer of Dior. He was born in Grasse also known as ‘the town of perfumes’. In a video, he explains that his father, who had a pharmacy, used to make his own Cologne and the little boy helped him by choosing bergamot and lemon. May be that’s the reason why he still loves creating fresh colognes !
