Hypnotic Poison Eau de Parfum

Description

Although it is fairly different from the original eau de toilette, Hypnotic Poison eau de parfum preserves the original’s dominant vanilla note, but integrates it into a more oriental-gourmand harmony. The reinforced licorice note echoes the warmth of tonka bean. The perfume is more floral, too, thanks to sambac-jasmine and orange-blossom absolutes, with their powerful and slightly animalic notes. History

Sixteen years after it was originally created, Hypnotic Poison is unveiled as an eau de parfum. More than just a concentrated version, the fragrance has been reworked as a bewitching and ‘addictively gourmand’ potion. “For Hypnotic Poison’s Eau de Parfum, I was thinking more about difference than about outdoing anything. The honeyed facet calls to the mouth, to addiction, François Demachy explains. Hypnotic Poison’s red-apple bottle has been reinterpreted, and the neck is graced with a seal hanging from a string tie.
