Fahrenheit Parfum

Description

Very different from the original eau de toilette, Fahrenheit Parfum is presented as an oriental-leather scent. At the top, mandarin orange is spiced up with a note of licorice. Fahrenheit’s floral note of violet is more discreet, but the fragrance is dense with a blend of rum absolute, coriander and cumin. The resolutely oriental trail is dominated by French vanilla absolute. Perfumer: François Demachy.

History

Twenty-six years after its launch, Fahrenheit unveils a parfum version. Warm, powerful and incandescent, Fahrenheit Parfum conjures up ‘the violent and holy, the exception and eternity.’ “I didn’t want to caricaturize Fahrenheit, which already has a very assertive composition. Instead, I followed the original plot, adding elements to enrich the story, highlighting its atypical personality,” François Demachy explains. Fahrenheit’s red bottle is more rounded and weightier here.
