Jasmin Fauve
Description
At the top, Jasmin Fauve intertwines lily and lily-of-the-valley. The heart pairs orange blossom with jasmine and tuberose. Finally, the trail unveils an animalic accord accompanied by ambrox and a leather note. Perfumer: Aurélien Guichard, Givaudan.
History
Jasmin Fauve (literally ‘Musky Jasmine’ or ‘Wild Animal Jasmine’) is a fragrance from niche brand Ex Nihilo. Pairing heritage and innovation, the designers wanted to work with top-of-the-line ingredients in unusual combinations. The juice nestles in an Art Deco-inspired bottle, and the cap can be personalized with precious cabochons. Nicknamed ‘venomous leather flower,’ the fragrance is a sensual bouquet of white flowers. Ex Nihilo, you have my attention with your 2014 fragrances. I want to try them all. I expect to find at least one of your scents completely unique and something I want to buy. I still have my mind on your Sicilian lemon!
