Xeryus Rouge

Description

For the first time, Givenchy uses the oriental family in a men's fragrance. The very lively top note is an outpouring of fresh and green scents of kumquat (a variety of spicy and sparkling Chinese mandarin), cactus and tarragon, which enhances the lively and tonic allure of the top note. The heart note is a breath of warm scents of cedar leaf, red pimento and African geranium (very spicy and slightly bitter). The end note, sensuous and persistent, is composed of cedarwood and sandalwood that bring nobleness and authenticity, and accords of tender and voluptuous white musk, and ambergris.

History

Although Xeryus is Ysatis's lover, Xeryus Rouge does not symbolize unfaithfulness to Ysatis. It has a more sensuous note, more carnal than Xeryus does. It is the perfume of passion whose scent is forever engraved in one's memory. Xeryus Rouge is like red roses, harbingers of love; like the color of a stage that has featured passionate songs and dances for centuries.

The Xeryus Rouge flacon, like the Xeryus flacon, is made of red glass, crowned with a metallic grey stopper. The red box has a trim in the same metallic grey color as the stopper and is inscribed with white lettering and the four "G"''s of the Logo are in grey and gold.
