Made to Measure
Description
Made to Measure opens with bergamot, lavender and anise seed. The heart combines nutmeg and juniper berries with light fruity accents. The warmer dry-down is composed of labdanum, patchouli and leather notes. Though presented as an oriental fragrance, Made to Measure is rather soft and fresh.
History
Gucci presents Made to Measure. This fragrance is inspired by the Gucci Made to Measure suits. This chic, seductive, yet discreet is created for a refined man ‘who demand the very best’. The uncluttered bottle is a reinterpretation of Gucci by Gucci pour Homme with a golden cap.

I regret that they gave up on their fragrance, Pour Homme. I might like this on a man, but Pour Homme was special.

Gucci had much more “tailored” fragrances in their men’s section which they discontinued, such as Pour Homme or Envy, robust, manly and intelligent which were suited to both business and pleasure. This new, very light aromatic amber with a hint of leather doesn’t quite hit the spot. It might appeal to young men budding into perfume but for serious endeavors, “Made to measure”, one should look elsewhere.
