History
Since 1999, the Aqua Allegoria collection has been meant as a tribute to nature. Grapefruit, a garden of tender herbs, and cheery trees in bloom have all been featured. Aqua Allegoria’s place within the Guerlain range is somewhere between a cologne and an eau de toilette. With Flora Nymphéa, for the first time ever, an Aqua Allegoria is being incarnated by a woman’s face, in the form of a nymph, ‘a goddess of Nature, whose gracefulness has turned her into a mythical figure in Art and a symbol of the Renaissance’. Guerlain’s Nymph aims to be modern, a cross between a fairy and a woman.

Bottle
Faithful to the tradition of the bottle designed by sculptor Robert Granai, Flora Nymphéa preserves the original allure, emblematic of the Aqua Allegorias. But the label has changed and is now golden. As for the packaging, it has been revisited as well, and has been graced with a white honeycomb texture.

J'aime beaucoup ce parfum. Je ne sais pas du tout pourquoi mais c'est une odeur qui me rappelle la fête de Noël, une odeur très régressive.

Orange blossom alone makes me want to test this and maybe put it in my collection. I've had Aqua Allegoria before (ylang yland and tiare) and I know it is more like a cologne, but this doesn't bother me as the fragrance was so beautiful.

Je trouvais le flacon superbe et l'emballage très flatteur. Je suis une adepte de la marque Guerlain et de ce qu'elle représente, son image de la femme, etc.Mais franchement, l'odeur de ce parfum est vraiment sans intérêt : forte, mais sans finesse. Ca sent la "dame" sans personnalité. Ce n'est donc pas franchement pour moi... Sa tenue est assez bonne, mais a-t-on envie de le porter pour autant? Sinon, le prix est correct pour un parfum Guerlain. Mais je ne conseille pas de choisir celui-ci, mis à part pour son flacon. .
