Habit Rouge L’Eau
Description
Habit Rouge L’Eau is less oriental, and much more citrusy than its older brother. Habit Rouge’s bitter Seville orange note is paired here with a hazelnut-wood accord. The heart of the fragrance features a note of jasmine, which gives the scent a sheer, powdery effect. The drydown reveals a slightly oriental effect thanks to waves of woods and vanilla. Perfumer: Thierry Wasser.

A modern and refreshing “habit”
History
With Habit Rouge L’Eau, Guerlain brings a fresh, contemporary air to the house’s classic men’s scent: Habit Rouge. While staying, ‘faithful to the chic, aristocratic codes of times gone by,’ Habit Rouge L’Eau aims to be ‘more spontaneous and dynamic, more ‘good boy’ than ‘gentleman,’ delicately refreshed and younger,’ according to the Parisian house. The outcome is an eau with green and woody accents, and a zesty touch of bitterness.
Range
Eau de Toilette 1.7 and 3.4 oz.
Bottle
The Habit Rouge bottle boasts a red ring at the base of the cap and a silvery label.

FOFY makes a good point: A lot of these perfumes on the site are not available in Brasil. The French are lucky to have the great perfume houses in which you have access to a lot more fragrances. I wish we had the great perfume houses in the US. Respectively, I know many perfumes here are not available in France. Having a perfume house, you can go in and sample all if you wish. Here, we make a trip and find out that a store might only sell one or two of the house's bestsellers. I love Serge Lutens perfumes and wish I had access to more. The same is true of Tom Ford fragrances.

ECKBO57, I would love to make a trip to Woodfield and stop in Nordstrom's perfume department to try Habit Rouge L'Eau. I go crazy nuts in there because there are so many good perfumes available (especially Annick Goutal's). I will compile a list of those to try beforehand so my trip isn't futile. I think in addition to Habit Rouge L'Eau, I will focus on the Marc Jacobs collection and Tom Ford's collection.
