Description
A precious multi-facetted fragrance, Vol de Nuit takes off with a citrusy top note followed up by a flight of daffodils and green notes of galbanum. The woody scents of sandalwood and oakmoss are in perfect harmony with spices and soar into a bold end note of oriental scents (vanilla, iris, Peru Balsam).
History
In 1931, Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, a French poet and aviator wrote Vol de Nuit, his most famous novel, which tells the story of the early days of airmail when each flight was an adventure.

Bottle
The raised drawing on the flacon represents the propeller of a moving plane. The name, inscribed in a circle of gilded metal, symbolizes the propeller drive belt.

Vol de Nuit est un parfum empreint d'histoire ou d'une histoire. J'apprécie le côté multi facettes qu'il nous offre. Il se fait tour à tour oriental, floral vert, chypre et hespéridé avec la superbe guerlinade en fond. Un petit bémol cependant, sa tenue en ce qui concerne l'actuelle edt

Vole De Nuit looks simple, but I want a vanilla oriental and I know Guerlain will do it right and with class.
