La petite Robe noire (2012)
Description
The perfume opens with a note of black cherry enhanced with a sweet combination of almond, berries and bergamot. The heart intertwines essence of Bulgarian rose with Turkish rose absolute, as well as waves of black tea and licorice. The trail reveals the famous ‘Guerlinade’: a blend of tonka bean, vanilla, iris and patchouli. This perfume is distinctly different from the original version, which was launched in 2009. Perfumer: Thierry Wasser.
At a glance
A chic, sexy and indispensable accessory.
History
‘I am La petite Robe noire (‘The Little Black Dress’). If you’ve ever seen me, you can never forget me…’ Just over two years since the creation of the first version of La petite Robe noire, Guerlain has concocted a reworked fragrance and is giving it a major launch. ‘More luminous, more ‘couture’ and more sophisticated,’ the fragrance was made in the image of a flirty, affectionate, elegant and slender Parisian woman. In fashion terms, the little black dress is considered to be a chic and sexy outfit that’s right for any occasion.

Eau de Parfum 1, 1.7 and 2.5 oz.

Mitsouko and L’Heure Bleue’s signature bottle, with its upside-down heart-shaped cap, is now garbed in black shading into pink with a fashion sketch of a little black dress. Bottle: Serge Mansau. Design: Olivier Kuntzel and Florence Deygas.
