Myrrhe et Délires
Description
Myrrhe et Délires opens with fresh and fruity notes as well as spicy ones. The heart reveals rose and iris intertwined with myrrh, which projects botanical, resinous, ambry and almost sunny facets. The perfumer managed to make this myrrh both less dark and more mischievous, too. The oriental trail is composed of frankincense, patchouli and a touch of licorice. Perfumer: Thierry Wasser.

History
Myrrhe et Délires (Myrrh and Madness) is the ninth creation in Guerlain’s L’Art & La Matière collection, a range dedicated to the rare ingredients Guerlain uses in a fetishistic way. Guerlain’s house perfumer, Thierry Wasser, was traveling in the Middle East when he discovered myrrh. In the Bible, this resin from a shrub was one of the gifts brought by the Magi. The essence has been used for millennia in mystical and sacred rituals, but the perfumer wanted to work it in a way that would bring out its enchanting and mischievous sides. ...il me semblait avoir senti toute la collection mais je ne me rappelle pas celui ci..j'ai craqué pour Angelique noire...Je vais retourner le découvrir

Un parfum réussi de Thierry Wasser qui s'inscrit très bien dans la lignée de Guerlain mais je préfère quand même Tonka Impérial.

C'est le prochain que je dois acheter selon le parfum-matcher. Quand arrive t'il au Québec. Déjà à la lecture des ingrédients, je salive.
