Description
The top note has the modern freshness of galbanum and hyacinth, strengthened by bergamot and lemon. The carnation, a spicy flower with hints of clove, gives the perfume its true character over a layer of rose, jasmine, and violet notes. Fidji ends on a delicate powdery note of balsam, musk, patchouli, sandalwood and amber.
History
Fidji was the first French marketing drive that associated a strong image with a prestigious designer, as only Americans knew how to do at the time. The idea was hatched at the Club Med in Agadir where Laroche executives were spending their vacation. What was their most beautiful dream at the time? To discover a mythical, heavenly island. And so Fidji was born. "A woman is an island. Fidji is her perfume", went the now famous slogan. Fidji has been a great success because it reflects a timeless and universal dream. Its concept is better known than the actual brand name Guy Laroche. Cheerful and sunny, never out of fashion, this floral perfume has been one of the most appreciated fragrances worldwide.
Bottle
The bottle recalls the shape of another perfume: Tropique by Lancôme. When it fell to the ground, its upside-down position served as inspiration for the cap!

Parfum vert, piquant, reconnaissable.
