Description
A lively and warm perfume, evoking a horse blanket. The woody conifer note of fir, cedar and cypress followed by warm notes of vanilla and resin remind us of a horseback ride in the forest. The fragrance of Rocabar is built like a tree, starting with a top note of leaves, followed by the woody note of the trunk, and finally by the earthy note of the roots. This is why Rocabar is qualified as "powerful as a tree emerging from the earth and reaching up to the sky."
History
The long history of the house of Hermès began in 1837 when Thierry Hermès moved to Paris and started a saddler's. Rocabar pays a tribute to this traditional art. A strong and majestic perfume, it takes us back to the far-of age of chivalry.
Bottle
Rocabar is wrapped in a cover tied by a leather strap which protects the glass bottle, which is encircled by a tie embedded in the glass. The 'gunbarrel' cap evokes a polo helmet.

Le packaging a changé. C'est dommage qu'Hermès uniformise ses flacons, car le flacon fait partie du parfum. Rocabar est un boisé chypré duquel émerge un cœur floral, essentiellement de la violette.
