Elixir des Merveilles
Description
A note of candied orange peel makes an appearance, in a blend of citrus pulp and chocolate. Then comes a sweet biscuit note, composed of tonka bean and vanilla blended with sugar and milk. Oak, frankincense balms, ambergris and Peruvian and Siamese resins weave a sensual oriental-woodsy thread into this eau de toilette.
At a glance
An enchanting elixir, tempting and gourmand
History
Sensual and mischievous, Elixir des Merveilles reveals unexpected waves of candied orange peel, vanilla sugar and biscuit. Reworked and reconsidered by Jean Claude Ellena, Hermès’s in-house fragrance designer, the scent is a more concentrated, gourmand and festive version of Eau des Merveilles. A third marvelous chapter: after the eau and the perfume, voici… the Elixir.
Range
Eau de Parfum 1.7 and 3.4 fl. oz.
Bottle
The bubble-shaped Elixir des Merveilles bottles takes on a concentrated orange hue, scattered with ‘silvery asters sown in a stellar rain shower’ over the bottle.

Côté tenue il tient parfaitement, mais odeur bien trop capiteuse, trop fort. À la limite du désagréable et me donne la nausée quand je le sens sur quelqu'un. Le seul parfum avec Opium et Idylle à me faire ça.

FOFY : I don't agree with Frangrantica and you. Elixir des Merveilles is not an oriental-fougère, but a and oriental-woody. You should try it and tell us what you think about !
