Description
The fragrance opens with fresh notes of grapefruit and galbanum. The heart unveils metallic tonalities intertwined with rhubarb. The dry, woody drydown combines cedar, amber and karanal, an ambry-musky note.

History
To celebrate the couture label HUGO’s 20th anniversary, Hugo Boss fragrances has come up with HUGO RED. This fragrance incarnates the house’s creative, adventurous spirit. ‘By formulating an unexpected parallel between heated and cooled metals, we were aiming for a fragrance that would encourage men to push their envelopes,’ P&G Fragrance’s creative team explained. So the fragrance is composed around two accords: a ‘cold, solid’ one and a ‘warm, fluid’ one. The contrast makes an appearance on the thermo-sensitive bottle, too: it changes color depending on the temperature.

Bottle
The emblematic HUGO bottle has been reinterpreted in a opaque, matte-red version. And it is heat-sensitive too. That means that when you pick the bottle up, your warm hand leaves a print on the bottle, and stays there for a moment.

Je trouve que les équipes Hugo Boss ont fait preuve de beaucoup de créativité pour imaginer le flacon d’Hugo Red. La bouteille signature de la ligne HUGO est cette fois recouverte d’un revêtement thermosensible rouge. C’est-à-dire que lors de la prise en main du parfum, vos empreintes s’inscrivent sur le flacon avant de disparaître quelques instants plus tard. Une innovation amusante et cohérente avec le jus qui se veut à la fois chaud et froid. Petit conseil : réchauffez-vous les mains avant de tester le flacon car si elles sont froides, il n’y aura aucun résultat !
