Description

Glowing by Jennifer Lopez opens with sparkling notes of bergamot, mandarin and cypress. The heart reveals a floral bouquet of orange flower, ‘muguet des bois’ (lily of the valley from the forest) and cassia flower. The ambery and musky dry-down blends vanilla, sandalwood, patchouli, vetiver and ‘amber sultan’ accord. Perfumers : Calice Becker and Caroline Sabas, Givaudan.

Forever glow

History

Jennifer Lopez ‘is on top of the charts. All over the media. All over the world. She’s glowing hotter than ever’… In 2012, ten years after Glow, Jlo introduces Glowing, a floral and warm scent inspired by the scent of her favourite candle. Glowing ‘embodies the aura of Jennifer in her most flawless form: modern, sexy, wet skin’, explains the brand. For Glowing, Jennifer Lopez wanted an innovative bottle : when the fragrance is sprayed, the bottle lights up for 15 seconds.

Range

Eau de Parfum 1 oz / 30 ml ; 1.7 oz / 50 ml and 2.5 oz / 75 ml ; Body Lotion 6.7 oz / 200 ml.

Bottle

The cylindrical and facetted bottle is inspired by Baccarat crystal. When the atomizer is pressed, the bottle illuminates for 15 seconds (the small bottle does not light up).

FOFY; we would like to hear more from you about your reaction to perfumes. You always categorize so well. I like Jennifer's idea to make the flacon light up. It is original. Fans who appreciate GLow will like this as well. Pleasant.

Je préfère largement Glowing a Deseo que ce soit dans la composition avec un départ fusant et un lilas très attachant que dans le choix du flacon, sobre et élégant.

The fragrance is still musky, like Glow. But it is warmer, with a soft oriental touch : sandalwood, amber notes, and white woods in the drydown. It’s also almost gourmand with notes like guimauve and heliotrope. It is a surprisingly soft fragrance. It’s a fragrance for a woman who enjoys herself and does not take herself or life too seriously. Not classic, towards being trendy. And not necessarily young - for women of any age group.
