The pyramid draws me in, the ginger, black cardamom, leather, patchouli, and wood all make me want to inhale this one. The bottle is too plain for my taste. I will get my paws on this one.

the spicy opening notes are gentle but very "present." it is a very gentle oriental style parfum.

Oh, one of my other comments on Jo Malone's cologne, I thought I could layer ginger lily and then pomegranate over the first. I didn't realize Dark Amber and Ginger Lily was one and the same cologne. It still sounds okay. Lotus Blossom and Water Lily (not sure if 2 colognes or just 1) is a combination for me.

dark amber is a nice scent. it's nicely dry - and i love the woody amber aroma. this is easily my favorite by jo malone.
