Blue Agava & Cacao
Description
The top notes are sparkling with grapefruit, red berry cardamome and lime oil. The heart reveals the blue agava flower with orchid, other flowers and a salt note. The base notes are warm, sensual and spicy with dark cocoa, vanilla, cinnamon and vetiver. To be worn by itself or layered with other Jo Malone fragrances, for instance Pomegranate Noir or Nectarine Blossom & Honey.

History
Blue Agava & Cacao is an impassionned fragrance inspired by the artistry of flamenco. It blends blue agava, spices, sensual cocoa and a sea salt note. The scent blends ‘seemingly contradictory notes to create a call and response on the skin’. Among the thousands of agava succulents, the blue agava, occurring in the desert areas of Mexico has been chosen. Its flower provides a ‘delicately sweet perfumed sap (that is) at the heart of the spirit tequila’.

The pyramid is luscious and inviting. Especially the agave, cocoa, grapefruit, cardamom, cinnamon, and vanilla bean all of which are draws for me. I would love to inhale this fragrance. I would not layer it, I would let it speak to my skin alone. Chocobo hunting.

Everything in this cologne sounds luscious and sexy. I'd also love to mix it with Pomegranate and the Nectarine Honey. I'd mix them one at a time. Then I would layer upon another layer. The possibilities sound fantastic. Thanks, Jo Malone, which scents compliment the original cologne.

J'adore ce parfum sensuel de nuits chauds du désert. Cela a été un favori depuis des années! Comme Sandrose, cela me rappelle de Flamenco d'une manière merveilleuse.

I LOVE this sultry scent of hot desert nights. This has been a favorite for years! Like Sandrose, this remind me of Flamenco in a wonderful way.
