Artisan
Description
The scent opens with a cocktail of citrus (clementine, tangelo, mandarin orange) and herbal notes of thyme and lavandin. The heart blends solar floral notes of orange blossom and Indian murraya (orange jasmine tree) with a trio of ginger extracts. The background unveils a modern, abstract woody harmony. Perfumer : Rodrigo Flores-Roux, Givaudan.

History
According to John Varvatos, “Every aspect of Artisan - from the carefully calibrated elements that comprise this unique scent to the handwoven flask that contains it - reflects the artisanal hand. The result is a truly timeless quality, one that evokes both my respect for the past and my vision of the future.” A masculine contemporary take on the citrus theme, John Varvatos ARTISAN reinvents the familiar idea of splash and eau de Cologne with original notes of flowers and modern-abstract woody ingredients.

I actually found this is Macy's and just touching the bottle itself is Sensual!!!!! I love the Feel of The Bottle in my hand. So artfully crafted, so unique. I absolutely love the scent which is sensual but not overpowering at all! I'm going to buy a bottle for my man.

A new take on ginger for men. Ginger isn't that easy to work into a perfume. But Varvatos takes on 3 gingers. He poured love into this. The bottle is gorgeous. Men would like this in their medicine chests. For a guy who loves showing a more soft side. More for a romantic poet eating oranges and composing poems and love notes to a lover.

Though probably not a masterpiece, this conjures for me the beautiful scent of orange blossoms floating through the desert air at dusk. It's clean and light-hearted and prettier than masculines often are. A hit if you ask me!
