FLOWER Oriental
Description
A sensorial and mysterious scent with frankincense wood accents. You’ll recognize a few of the original floral notes from the Flower formula. The heart unveils kyara, a sweet, woodsy, resinous note achieved from the combustion of agarwood. Composed by Alberto Morillas, Firmenich.

The Oriental encounter between a flower and incense
History
The Japanese have been religious about incense for centuries. The Kôdô (‘the way of incense’) ceremony is almost sacred. It is a ritual, an art. Each attendee is ‘invited to smell, feel and identify the woods burned, to listen to the incense’. So Kenzo has decided to dedicate a fragrance as noble as the Kôdô ceremony to incense. Its sweet, mysterious and refined notes have been added to the original harmony of Flower. The result is surprising: a less floral – but even more sensual – woodsy Oriental fragrance.
Range
Eau de Parfum, 1.7 fl. oz.
Bottle
A bottle in the shape of an homage to the Kôdo ceremony, with a black design of wisps of smoke evoking a black poppy. The calligraphy for kaori, meaning “scent”, is printed in red.

Un parfum magique, sans aucun doute mon préféré. Malheureusement je ne le trouve pas en vente... A la place j'ai acheté Madly de Kenzo où les notes d'encens sont aussi présente.

I appreciate the Kenzo brand of excellent parfums. I love Flower. Now if my Flower was put next to burning incense - one of two things can happen. It can be a smoldering success or a burned flower.
