History

With Fleur de Cristal, the house of Lalique is opening an olfactory chapter pairing history and modernity. In tribute to René Lalique (who was born 150 years ago this year, 2010), the fragrance is meant as a perfect reflection of the work of the house’s founder. An alliance of his love of nature, the artist’s source of inspiration… and of women, for whom René Lalique designed jewelry, vases and more. Resolutely modern, Fleur de Cristal is dedicated to women. Lily-of-the-valley’s little bell-shaped blooms – which can be found both on the bottle and in the olfactory composition – were the obvious choice, as they are symbols of the renewal that so fascinated René Lalique.
