L'Autre Ôud
Description
L’Autre Ôud opens with spicy notes of saffron intertwined with sage and notes of Bulgarian and Turkish roses. The heart reveals waves of amyris, gurjum balm and myrrh. The smoky-woody trail is a combination of gaiac wood, patchouli, vetiver, cypriol and rock rose (cistus labdanum). The oud accord has been reconstituted here from ‘17 rare and precious ingredients.’ Perfumer: Christophe Raynaud.

History
Inspired by a journey to Arabia, Lancôme’s L’Autre Ôud is an opulent fragrance composed around a precious ingredient, oud wood. The house describes it as ‘a mystical wood, evocative of exotic luxury and extreme refinement.’ As spelled by Lancôme, oud gets a circumflex accent on the o, just like the o in Lancôme.

Though I have not tired this perfume yet, I KNOW that this would be a favourite. it has got all the ingredients for an extraordinary perfume, and, I LOVE OUD

Je ne connais pas l'odeur de ce parfum qui m'a l'air chaud, puissant et sombre...Mais quelle beauté pour ce flacon, un bijou!!!!
