LACRIMA
Description
Pink pepper and elemi grant Lacrima a strong frankincense effect. The woody trail pairs cashmere wood with cypriol’s smokier notes. As for the castoreum, it grants a animalic touch to the finish. Perfumer: Anne-Sophie Behaghel, Flair.
History
Lacrima is part of the Trilogie des Humeurs, a fragrance collection inspired by Hippocrates, for whom the balance of humors depended on the liquids circulating in the body. Like at an old-fashioned apothecary, the juices are contained inside porcelain amphorae. According to the house, Lacrima helps ease sadness and heartache. The fragrance reinterprets the smell of tears on your skin. For more info: liquidesimaginaires.com

What an interesting story to the Lacrima fragrance. I do love the apothecary jar concept. Hippocrates is a favorite philosopher of mine. I like frankincense but I prefer smelling it on a man. I want to know what "tears on one's skin," smells like, so I would try this.
