History
Alliance of patchouli, oak moss, sweet flowers and amber, Chypre d'Orient is part of the house of Molinard’s ‘La fraîcheur’ (“Frenshness”) collection of extra-sparkling fragrances for the home. For spring 2007, the brand’s fragrances flaunt a new, ‘delightfully retro look, as an homage to Art Deco, the golden era of classic perfume’.

Bottle
The retro, Art Deco bottle features spare, clean lines and round, “whiskered” shoulders, like bottles from the 20’s. Garbed with a bronze label, it is topped with a ‘diamond-facetted’ cap, inspired by a vintage creation Baccarat once designed for Molinard.

I haven't had a chance to try this, but I did purchase Molinard's Lavande and it is great. It is like Molinard used real lavender oil most likely a blend of Bulgarian lavender and French lavender oil. It is sexy and also has the Art Deco bottle.

Je l'avais acheté sur un coup de coeur et ensuite, je l'ai revendu sur eBay. Je ne pouvais pas le porter. Il ne me correspondait pas du tout et pourtant je l'aime bien quand je le sens sur d'autres personnes. J'aime les chyprés mais je les supporte difficilement sur moi. Il me fait penser à "Miss Dior original". Pas l'actuel, celui de 1947.
