History

Ambry, woodsy and sweet, Ambre is a perfume in Mona di Orio ‘Les Nombres d’Or’ Collection. This series of essences, composed for connoisseurs of fine fragrance, was inspired by the divine proportions of the harmonic ideal that has been recognized since Antiquity. It is the golden ratio, the “Nombre d’Or”. Intrigued and captivated by these aesthetic theories, the designer realized that she wanted to revisit some ineluctable, timeless accords from the history of perfumery. A ‘glass cube’ bottle sealed with a metal tie somewhat like the “cage” on a bottle of champagne. The symbol for the Greek letter phi adorns the bottle.
