Le Paradis de Nina
Description
Zesty, tart and sparkling, the opening has a pair of citrus scents: orange and mandarin orange. In the heart, the sensuality of the original accord — caramelized candy apple and gardenia – has been kept, but paired with orange-blossom essence and an almondy floral bouquet with madeleine accents: heliotrope and almond blossom. In the base, this sensuality is intensified with woods and a gourmand vanilla. Perfumers: Marie Salamagne and Olivier Cresp, Firmenich.
At a glance
Poetry plus fantasy… a sweet “madeleine” of a scent
History
After Pretty Nina in 2008 and Love by Nina in 2009, for 2010, Nina Ricci presents a more poetical interpretation of their famous ‘apple’ bottle. Le Paradis de Nina evokes a paper garden: a dreamy, fantasy world focused on origami, the Japanese paper-folding technique seen as a manifestation of purity, delicacy, a transmitter of emotions. In olfactory terms, Le Paradis de Nina is reminiscent of Nina, but is also inspired by an interpretation of a madeleine, a mouth-watering memory of childhood made famous by Proust in his Remembrance of Things Past.
Range
Eau de Toilette 1.7 oz. Limited edition.
Bottle
The pinkish-red apple is more pastel now, with a pearly effect, evoking the lightness of clouds, the tenderness of a childhood memory.
