Flash back
Description
Flash back opens with rhubarb, which grants a tart, green almost sharp edge. Orange and grapefruit also appear in the top notes. The heart goes spicy with red pepper, and fruity with Granny Smith apple. Cedar and vetiver bring a woody effect to the trail, which is warmed up with amber and musks. Perfumer: Olivier Cresp, Firmenich.

A fragrance like a souvenir photo
History
Flash back was born of the encounter between the artist Laurent Segretier and the perfumer Olivier Cresp. Flash back is like a ‘memory on the march and in action’. It’s the fifth fragrance from Olfactive Studio, a participative fragrance house founded by Céline Verleure.
Range
Eau de Parfum 1.7 and 3.4 oz.
Bottle
A square bottle with rounded edges is graced with a paper label that looks somewhat like photographer’s tape. The packaging flaunts a photograph by Laurent Segretier, which also comes inside the box.

I love the flacon, am a fan of Olivier Cresp, flashback memories are a treat. Also a treat is a scent like this with: vetiver, apple, rhubarb and wood notes. J'taime. For a lively reporter who gets the good scoops first.

If you like vetiver but look for a fresh vetiver, this scent could be for you. The freshness is not watery or transparent. It’s rather crisp and slightly green. By the way, if you don’t know this brand, you should definitely give a try to their fragrances. Each of them is sold with a photograph in its box.
