Parfums de Marly's classic fragrance creation is a woody chypre composition using the fine essences, made from Lemon, cardamom, jasmine, vetiver over a base of vanilla, leather, amber and musk.
History
Inspired by the daring horse races that charmed France during the King Louis XV’s era, Parfums de Marly introduces Lippizan fragrance with its gallant scent. The horse breed Lippizan was developed in the 16th century and, spread to participate in the Royal Horse races of this era.

The top of the fragrance pyramid sounds stellar. I just love the marketing choice of naming fragrances after great horses. A tester in my book.
