Infusion d'Homme
Description
Very similar to Infusion d’Iris, it is nevertheless distinguished by a more aldehyde-y, sparkling opening thanks to mandarin orange and neroli, which ‘exalt the clean and comfortable aspects’. The iris heart veers towards woods with cedar and vetiver, and the fragrance evolves towards a sweet, lightly oriental trail of benzoin and frankincense. Designed by: Daniela Andrier, Givaudan.

History
Inspired by Infusion d'Iris, which it is very similar to, Infusion d’Homme is an elegantly refined eau de toilette with a discreet but definite presence. The house was aiming for a scent that would be reminiscent of ‘the feeling of slipping on a clean white shirt after a nice, refreshing shower’. Like Infusion d’Iris, the packaging is discreet, luxurious and tactile.

Bottle
The bottle and packaging are identical to Infusion d’Iris’s. Only the color is different. Pale green for Infusion d’Iris, here it flaunts a pale shade of gray, halfway between white and mastic.

Mon Dieu...j'ai retrouvé ma défunte grand-mère dans un flacon ! Comment peut-on qualifier ce parfum de parfum d'homme..? tout ici est féminin ; il est sucré, voire suave, poudré, fleuri. J'ai attendu deux heures avant de courir m'enlever cette odeur de mon poignet avant qu'un papy qui lui aussi aurait perdu sa grand-mère me saute dessus !! Allez, sans rire, Chère Daniela, d'accord pour l'iris pour ces dames, mais n'ayez pas trop la main lourde quand il s'agit des Messieurs. Je n'ai rien contre le côté rétro, c'est même en général ce que je préfère..Mais même l'Aqua Velva, au moins, a l'avantage de ne pas vouloir nous faire nous féminiser à tout prix, comme le veut la nouvelle vague des parfums..

Un parfum sensuel, sophistiqué, léger et doux mais surtout un parfum que j'apprécie beaucoup !!!
