History
Fresh and dynamic, Big Pony Number 1 is one of the four scents of Ralph Lauren’s Big Pony Collection. This fragrance collection is directly inspired by Big Pony polo shirts, with their large numbers and polo players logos. The ad campaign represents a group of young, sportive, ambitious and sleek-looking men. Each one of them represents a fragrance. In its blue bottle, Big Pony Number 1 is a citrus-aromatic scent that is dedicated to a sporty man. Like the four players of a polo team, the Big Pony Collection is available in four fragrances. Big Pony No 2, No 3 and No 4 are the three other scents of this modern ‘team of fragrances’.

Bottle
The sleek blue bottle is adorned with the number 1 in yellow on the front side. The back of the bottle features a polo player in a green hue. The bottle is topped with a silver-colored cap.

I tried all of them again. I like this sporty aromatic scent. It's fresh & definitely "sporty." For the men or teenager who plays polo or the guys who love taking their lovelies for a ride in their yacht.

I smelled this and I liked it more than Big Pony 2,3 & 4. It's citrusy and sporty. I loved the campaign of 4 scents for 4 polo team players. I'd get Big Pony 1 & 2 and disregard 3 & 4. Too bad all 4 weren't appealing to me. I'd buy all 4 if I liked them all. Then make my man rotate the 4 scents.

i give it a 3. lack of longlivity -1 star and lack of originality another -1. Nothing special about this one.
