History
Named for the oh-so-elegant men’s clothing line of the same name, Purple Label gets its inspiration from such powerful concepts as excellence, self-confidence and success. It is intended for modern men, aged 30 to 55, whose instinctive elegance and taste for the good things in life give them – and their fragrance – a unique personality. So Ralph Lauren wanted to confer a luxurious image on every aspect of this scent (packaging, essence, bottle) and reserve it for the happy few (currently available almost exclusively from the brand’s main European boutiques).
