Description
Oud Edition opens with mandarin and saffron. The heart is made of leather (an interpretation of one of the facets of oud) and orange blossom. The dry down reveals oud, amber, vanilla and incense. Perfumer: Louise Turner, Givaudan.

History
After Roberto Cavalli Eau de Parfum, Cavalli unveils a scent built around an oriental and precious essence: oud wood. This scent, Oud Edition, is for ‘people who are not afraid to be noticed’ according to the perfumer Louise Turner. For her, oud is a strong essence and illustrates the ‘luxury, rich textures and high-quality materials’ present in the Italian designer’s work.

Eau de Parfum 1.7 oz / 50 ml and 2.5 oz / 75 ml.
Bottle
The bottle is the same as the one of Roberto Cavalli edp except that it is golden.

Love the pyramid here. I have the original and it's a killa. I want to try this. The leather and oud notes are intriguing. Chocobo hunting.

One of the rare best sellers not overly sweet. This is a good woody and spicy scent, but not an exceptional one.

I've never smelled oud. I'd like to smell this. I love the smell of leather jackets. To my knowledge, no perfume of mine has contained either. I have smelled saffron in Tocca's Brigitte and I love, love it. Leather and saffron is unique to me. If I like it, the perfume would be so different from those I already wear.
