History
After introducing us to sumptuous woody scents (Cedar, Oak, Borneo 1834), Serge Lutens unveils Gris Clair… A dry, Oriental-influence alchemy exhaling a silky, mysterious nectar of gray lavender. But let’s let the designer describe it, since he’s the one who does it best, ‘Inaccessible, set in stones, this flower – if it even is one - […] survives; magical, sweet, clinging on by its lacy fingertips… of slender roots. Poetical marvel, […] it unfurls its dry fragrance, […] carrying, in the name of beauty, the tip of a star within it’.

Serge Luten's description of Gris Clair is sheer poetry. I love it. These are more than marketing words!

I adore my perfume Lavande by Molinard. I layer it over others, spray it on my sheets and it lifts spirits while lending mystery. A Lutens perfume that I may really like especially since the lavender turns to gray!!
