Purple Patchouli is one of Tom Ford’s luxurious Private Blend collection. ‘Private Blend is my perfume lab; it’s a place where I can create unusual, unique fragrances, freed from the usual conventions of perfumery.’ For both men and women, Purple Patchouli eau de parfum comes in a 1.7-fl.-oz., streamlined spray bottle, as well as in a large, 8-fl.oz. decanter. I was way too hard on Tom Ford. I love all of his fragrances that I've tried. Now I own 3 of his perfumes.

Bottle design in nice, ad is compelling, but leaves me thinking did Tom Ford himself actually create this perfume by himself. I don't see him counting drops of patchouli and procuring a leather accord from a huge lab. He is not the first celebrity/designer to claim making the actual perfume. But his statement turns me off. Enough to just walk on by as there are thousands of perfumes today on the market.

Mixte, euhhhhh. Il m'arrive souvent d'aller piocher dans les parfums hommes pour hommes, mais celui ci est tout de meme très masculin pour un mixte...
