Champaca Absolute
Description
Champaca’s spicy-floral scent blends with the honeyed notes of broom-flower and davana, a flower with alcohol-inflected fruit notes, an effect reinforced here by notes of cognac and Tokay wine.
At a glance
An exotic and inebriating floral
History
Floral, opulent, alcohol-infused, Champaca Absolute is a fragrance in Tom Ford’s luxurious Private Blend collection. The designer wanted to ‘create the sensorial equivalent of a creamy, olfactory millefeuille’ composed around this sweet flower that’s similar to magnolia. For her, and for him too, why not? At selected points of sale.
Range
Eau de Parfum 1.7 and 8.4 oz.
Bottle
A dark, sleek bottle graced with a golden label. It is reminiscent of a chess piece.

Parfum très élégant, plein de douceur qui est présent sans être agressif, il donne l’impression de porter un vêtement haute couture

This is my actual choice for fall. It is warm, embracing. I find it more feminine, though this is both for women and men. The floral note is so strong (I love florals), deep, more on the sweet side. Very good sillage, good longevity.

This already sounded worthy of trying & now I see that is in the same olfactory category as Eau de Charlotte by Annick Goutal. I already wear that scent.
